This week was also very exciting. On Tuesday, I visited Hatvani István Primary School for the first time, where I held the first Chinese lesson for the school's students. The class was extremely exciting for both the students and me. They were very curious and interested in the Chinese language and culture. In the first lesson, we learned to say hello and count from 1 to 10. They liked the counting part the best, since Chinese people express the numbers with different hand gestures. The success of the class was also proven by the positive feedback from parents, since after the class there was a child who greeted his parents in Chinese.

On Wednesday, Miss Feng and I went to the Tóth Árpád High School, where we held a lecture about the Chinese language, its beauty and learning difficulties for Hungarian students. The purpose of our visit was primarily to recruit for language classes, but teacher Feng and I were both surprised to find that a long hall was completely full of bright-eyed students, we actually had to give a lecture in front of a large audience. The success of the presentation is proven by the fact that the students came up with so many questions that their teachers had to remind them that it was time to finish and go to their next classes. There was a graduate student who had very firm and ambitious plans: she would like to continue her studies in China next year and start university there. It is also clear from this that learning Chinese is becoming more and more widespread, many people start planning their future careers already in high school.

On the last working day of the week, Friday, the Teahouse event organized for the Researchers' Night was also held at our Institute, to which many interested guests came. The event was also attended by Chinese students who gave lectures on tea in several languages. I myself was able to tell about the relationship between Shen Nong and tea in Chinese, and then I was able to interpret Professor Wang's presentation in Chinese for the Hungarian audience about the relationship between Tai Chi and life.
