This week started in an exciting way as well, because we have visited the picturesque International School of Debrecen with Miss Feng and Erik. Stepping into the building, a multicultural environment was immediately revealed to us, that is also the school’s trademark. The greeting "Welcome" appeared before our eyes in many languages from the ceiling of the spacious auditorium. We participated in the Educational Fair, where we could present the Confucius Institute of the University of Debrecen, the Chinese language and culture. I was delighted that so many students and parents inquired about Chinese language classes, most of them found the Chinese characters amazing, and many came to us to write down a character on the special practice paper with brush and water. I was also very happy that quite a few young students independently expressed their interest in the Chinese language and culture and indicated that they would like to attend Chinese language classes. It's nice to see that today's generation is so interested and open to different languages and cultures.
