FBD 09.26-30. 2022.

The Chinese class for beginners that Miss Fang and I taught this week was much more successful than before, and there were basically no cohesion problems between she and I in classroom. On Wednesday, we used Kahoot to help the students review. The classroom effect with Kahoot is particularly good, and both Miss Fang and I can have a certain understanding of the degree of mastery of the students, and the classroom atmosphere is also more active. In the classroom teaching, we also used some games to help students learn Chinese numbers. In addition, we also let students write Chinese characters and feel the differences between Chinese characters and letters. On Wednesday, we also went to a downtown school together to teach some Chinese characteristics for the students there and to answer their questions. I didn't think there were too many questions, but the students there were very interested in Chinese and they asked so many questions, which surprised me. One student asked me to write a Chinese sentence on the blackboard in Chinese characters. I wrote the very simple "I love you", and they seemed to be very interested in this sentence. On the way to the city center, I also saw a lot of Hungarian buildings, which was very different from Chinese buildings. Both Hungarian and Chinese buildings were stunning. A new student was added to the Chinese class on Tuesday and Thursday. For me, it is really a big change to balance the teaching content for these two students with different Chinese levels. Mr Erik asked me and Miss Fang to have lunch in Krudy on Thursday. I think the environment near Krudy is very good, especially ducks playing in the water. Krudy's food is both delicious and beautiful. On Friday, the Confucius Institute held an activity, and I performed the tea ceremony and paper cutting. Although everyone encouraged me, I still think my English is very poor. My explaining of the paper-cutting culture was not fluent, which made me a little  frustrated.
