How time flies, the semester is half past after this week’s class. I feel very happy about this week’s teaching. From the perspective of the teaching content, the knowledge in the textbooks can no longer meet the needs of the students. They learn very quickly and are particularly highly motivated. In each class, Miss Fang and I need to find some videos related to Chinese learning from YouTube or add some Chinese words in class. In addition, I also found that some students were particularly interested in Chinese characters. When adding vocabulary for students, sometimes we only provide them with Chinese pinyin. In this case, students will ask us to write the Chinese character and let us tell how the character evolved. Even if we never ask students to write Chinese characters, students definitely imitate our writing of Chinese characters when we write them. From the teaching form, the cooperation between Miss Fang and I are more and more smooth. Even if one of the teachers has a new teaching idea in class, the other teacher can quickly understand and cooperate well. In terms of classroom management, we found that ignoring is a more effective way for students who like to make trouble in class. This week, we paid little attention to the disruptive student, and we deliberately avoided his bad behavior, and the class was much more successful than before. We will continue this approach in the next few weeks. We also held an cultural activity in another city this week. This activity made me more convinced of the students' interest in learning Chinese. Even students who just learn Chinese will ask how to learn Chinese well, whether they need to watch Chinese movies, etc. In addition, they will seize every opportunity to use Chinese. For example, a student saw a cat on the road, then he said the sentence "xiaomao zai nar" which we just learned.
